Research on Self-exciting Air-core Pulsed Alternator Considering Armature Reaction

Compared with the traditional synchronous generator iron core structure, air-core pulse alternator usually adopts self-excitation to establish a higher field current meet its demand for high flux density. In this paper, topology of self-exciting rectifier is determined be full bridge by discussing respective application scope and half wave rectifier. Considering armature reaction, process coupling relationship between winding are analyzed. According commutation overlap angle, equivalent circuits different states carried out, instantaneous expressions deduced, which lays foundation following phase control research.
